@GSpace True. NASA quit on reusable crafts because of the Space Shuttle. But, aren’t we all forgetting private companies like Virgin Galactic and SpaceX?

@NebulaX I don’t think safety records make much of a difference because after the shuttle ones surely nasa would take safety a lot more seriously and improve it so I wouldn’t base it on that because nasa improved alot.

@Arstotzka NASA is 62 years old, while Roscosmos is 29. But I do see @Tele47’s point. But I would probably ride on a Soyuz than something NASA has made, like the SLS.

In the history of Soviet cosmonautics, 4 people died (Soyuz-1, Soyuz-11). I think it makes no sense to compare the safety of the two space agencies, since no accidents have happened in 18 years.

@Freshygamer @Arstotzka I agree with Arstotzka because Roscosmos has an extreme safety record. Roscosmos has only killed 3 people, compared to NASA’s 17 (Space Shuttle disasters, and Apollo 1).
