This update polishes some rough edges we left on the last experimental update and tries to get everything ready for the public release of the 0.9.9XX update. There were a couple of very obvious bugs that were really easy to address, but not many, so hopefully that should bring us closer to a mobile beta.

Nathan has been busy polishing SR2 for those of you getting your new and shiny Steam Decks, with many under the hood improvements that we hope will make the game feel better on the deck, even if they aren't super noticeable for the rest of the players. One of the benefits for all of the platforms is that now, the control bindings should be way easier to config, but sadly, implementing this improvement means that all your existing bindings are going to be removed. We are really sorry for the annoyance but we want everyone to have the best experience possible.

PS: I'm surprised nobody got the hint on the original dev post. If you do find the hidden message in the text and you look hard enough, you may find an early surprise in the game files.

    There's a known issue with the wheels and landing legs, the torque values are rounded with no digits, it will be fixed in the next update, sorry for that.

    @pedro16797 in fact some of my funks instruction disapeared after the update .
    For exemple, iI had this for the steering control of my front wheels in a sport vehicle : Yaw / ( lateral.velocity.speed(something thing like that) x 0.4 ) .
    But after updating into the 0.9.902.0 I got this: Imput controller : Yaw
    I don't know what happened there but this is extremly weird .
    And , yes I will do a bug repport for the chutes.

    @Mikel8 this coming week we'll release an update that fixes most of what you commented, but could you explain what happened with your funks? And could you make a bug report with the craft that is spinning with the parachutes?

    @pedro16797 Wheels dont even work for me :'( .
    Torque don't go over 0.005 torque in flight .
    And some of my funk contolling disapeard ...
    A lot of other things bug sometimes , like : engines won't chang isp during flight, game crashes because of xml edited texture and parachute make the craft spin like crazy .
    Still not verry stable...
    But thank you for your work :)

    @XionmassResearchDevt It's funny to see you comment such a thing on an update focusing on bringing what the community wanted to the game. And btw, even if you don't share things, I'm glad to hear you still play and enjoy the game. Your opinion is as valid as everyone else opinions, this is a post to comment what is being added, if you feel like the game is lacking something you can see if it was already suggested here and if not, suggest it yourself. With enough backing and if we think it fits the game, we will sure consider adding it.

    I have mentioned over a year that astronauts should be their own full command chip as a command is also . With all AG control . And everything... Why is something that should of been done from the start , still over looked ... That's how much our / my opinions matter .. next to none

    I stopped sharing most my new builds recently. Lots of better builders has done the same thing. There is a reason for this . Either it's no longer worth it to them or they have gotten frustrated at some community.. I wish the beat for this game

    Breaking on wheels seems to have been messed up a little. little to no braking on any of my rovers or planes.

    Wait someone explains this to me. "Added Vizzy instruction: "broadcast to nearby crafts" that sends a broadcast message to the loaded crafts", it means that you will be able to control two rockets that are nearby? nearby like 500 meters or something.
