After going through your feedback and balancing some things we did an internal update for testing and found some extra things that could be polished. We are going to do an experimental update just to be safe but we feel like this one should be a lot more reliable and stable.
It is still an experimental update though, and you should treat it like that. We still appreciate your feedback on balancing things, like how dead weight is going to be calculated now or the prices of things.
You can find all that is new in the Release Notes.
useful information
@Mikuisagorl you need to get points to be able to upvote
I think that’s for non-crafts only @Mikuisagorl
Wait what i can i upvote with no rank?
You may get discount on summer I think @zullu
@zullu There WAS a big discount on Steam which decreased the price by quite a lot but it was months ago and so you don't really get the discount anymore.
I want to buy it on play store but its too expensive
Please give discount

@Pedro if i stay on test flight, the update should still take place when it comes out right? Sorry i only started using test flight since the last beta update
@Pedro ah yes sorry for the confusion i caused myself, I found it thx
@MaxQAerospaceSingapore I mean you already got the date
@Pedro oh wait, haha I didn’t see it sorry, because i was on test flight
@MaxQAerospaceSingapore you already got it
@Pedro could you give us a rough idea of when the update will be for mobile? Maybe in terms of weeks or months
@TronicOrbital exactly lol
As some other people pointed out, explosion scaling would be nice. Not only could it be used to mess around with weaponry but also to simulate ammunition detonations or fuel tank explosions.
I fell like the dead weight slider should just be enabled in general especially for hollow parts as it helps simulate different materials apart from general mass. Needing to go into hidden properties for hollows is fine but its a really useful tool to have by default. Also theoretically you could use fuel to simulate dead weight on solids but not on hollow parts.
@Pedro I haven’t seen any newer than 1,900kg.
@DrooMulticompany I'm guessing your source is a wikipedia article referring to an archived site talking about the first Falcon 9 version, that even had the old engine layout. Do you have any more up to date reference?
@Pedro a falcon 9’a fairing is 1,900kg.
This post was maybe unlisted then made it public @MaxQAerospaceSingapore
Why does it say the post was made yesterday when it has been 3 days
@DrooMulticompany a fairing is not an empty case made out of light materials. A fairing can be way heavier than a fuel tank, I assume that's the case on electron too given the fuel tanks are made out of composites.
Pain
@Pedro you tellin me those bulky fairings are even HEAVIER? do you know how hard it is to make Electron with those fairings? My small orbital rockets don’t work, the fairings are that heavy! An empty case made of light materials does not NEARLY weigh as much as a empty fuel tank!!!
