2nd moon of Arkkanna, Lies in between the orbits of Thanius and Vortís.
Zeraphus has raging sandstorms and large smog clouds due to the frequent and active volcanic active on this moon thanks to the tidal forces. It has a large iron core, along with a thin crust and mantle. That, along with the strong tidal forces created by Arkkanna cracks the moon to the point that lava overflows, and the frequently erupting volcanoes create an atmosphere. It is unknown as to how an atmosphere of its mass managed to cling to Zeraphus' small size, only that because of the large core and mass, the gravity is very high.
Lore
Zeraphus, also known as Arkkanna II, or Andullus 6b, is a volcanic moon with a very inhospitable atmosphere. Zeraphus also has a very inclined orbit for a moon of its proximity, despite being in between the second and third ring of Arkkanna. One could say that Zeraphus has it much worse than Thanius, but it is quite obvious. Thanius is very close to Arkkanna's Roche Limit, whereas Zeraphus is larger, boasts a thick atmosphere (for a moon of its size), and is generally much safer because of its farther distance from Arkkanna's Roche Limit. One notable feature of Zeraphus that makes it stand out is the amount of molten rock and lava on its surface, much more than that of Thanius. This is so because of the large, active iron-nickel core residing inside Zeraphus, which creates most of the volcanism. Because of the proximity to Arkkanna and with its large, active core, the volcanism on Zeraphus is high and volatile. Volcanic eruptions are frequent, throwing smog and ash in the air during the process. The cracks were formed from the stretching and tension from the gravity of Arkkana. Originally, they were small, but over time with the gravitational tensions and whatnot, the cracks expanded and elongated.
While Zeraphus is mainly known for its chaotic past and current state, like that of Thanius, it had life. The Barvunelis Awemtricae is one of the common life forms on Zeraphus. While it may seem impossible, these extreme plants do not live in the open or plains. Instead, they inhabit canyons, dried-out lava rivers, valleys, and anything that can block the radiation. This is so because unlike the Barvunelis Ustrenpased, it lacks the hardy shell most Barvunelis species have. Instead, it opted for larger longer leaves, and was able to vines from its "pod". There are also some other life forms, like Kallaomagii Femmochi, or just Femmochi, which are reminiscent of the lichens on Earth, growing in cracks and small, cramped, dark places. They reproduce using spores, which they spray out into the air by the millions.
In the end, Zeraphus will be forever known for its dangerous yet wonderful beauty, from the view from Arkkanna to the simple Awemtricae feasting on the light coming from the blackholes.
