This rocky body, which does seem to be habitable, is darker than comparable planets, the cause of this is unknown. There are a few bulbous mountains, and many islands scattered around, but this is most likely due to irregular tectonic plate movements.

Maybe the irregular tectonic plate movements cause underwater eruptions, creating a thick layer of methane and water vapor, blocking the light from the surface.

very nice, definitely incorporating that into the lore in a 1.3 version (since the bonus bodies still recieve updates even if they aren't a main part of Mortan anymore)
