General Info

Hytori is a large icy amd rocky super-earth 1.6 times earth’s mass. For most of it’s surface, it’s covered in a layer of ice, but some areas are not covered in rock, as it warm enough under the rock that there used to be volcanoes, causing the ice to be melted and vaporized.

Atmosphere

The reason why the atmosphere and clouds are green is because of the atmospheric composition being dominated by Chlorine, with 98.1% Chlorine, 1% H2O, 0.7% N2, 0.2% O2, and 0.2% other. The atmospheric pressure is around 0.05 atm. The (relative to the atmosphere) large amounts of Chlorine and the low density and pressure cause the planet to be toxic and likely to boil your blood. So please, for your sake, bring a spacesuit to this planet.

Geology

Though the planet orbits at twice the distance of Aquais, it still is tidally heated. There used to be and can still be volcanoes, in fact, if you recall from the General Info section, that is the reason why not all of the planet is covered in ice. There is also some seismic and tectonic activity, which leads to the presence of ravines across the surface.

Conclusion

Hytori is an icy world with a thin, yet toxic atmosphere that is also low in pressure. It is also geologically active, leading to some areas not covered in ice, and leading to the rise of ravines. If you want to come here, make sure to pack your spacesuit.

@CoralpolisInterstellar and also hypochlorous acid (although it will eventually decompose into hydrochloride and oxygen)

Wait, if it is water ice covered with chlorine atmosphere, then why won’t they react into hydrochloride?

@deepfriedfrenchtoast I respect the persistence. Heck, as long as you have some garden shovel kind of thing, you might as well be able to just scoop it up and bring it back to base for you to enjoy, with you never being exposed to the gaseous chlorine!
