Auto Credit Based on SRNS's Fu Xi

A magnificent gas giant known for its breathtaking ring system and its habitable moon Odena alongside other satellites. As the only major planet in the Worand system, its diverse moon system still offers many opportunities for tourism and research.

@JanusIndustries hahaha yeah that's what i did a lot in my early days, downloading many systems and ringed planets to get their ring & surface textures
it's how i have like 1500 textures in the game data and thus why the game takes up over 12 GB of my ipad's storage

@Zenithspeed ok but when you downloaded it, did you keep the rings? Like the file? Because if so, I guess I need to download a lot of ringed planets so I can get them🤣

@JanusIndustries ofc i changed the size, rings, and atmosphere too, but yea i did ofc change the planet colors

@Zenithspeed Oh ok lol, but all you did was just change the color bands?

Hmm the gas giant is made of gas.

@JanusIndustries this planet was based off of an existing one (see the predecessor and you'll notice the similarity), i just modified some parts of it

@Zenithspeed How do you do color bands like that? Do you need to add more color to just plainly... how?

@JanusIndustries yeah, no way something like this would form if it were real

@Zenithspeed But how can Talune harbor an earth-sized moon, and still have other average-sized moons? Plus the fact that it has its rings could mean that it is young but if it was young, Odena would possibly be a fiery wasteland or something else. This is your system, not mine, so I am just saying if this system was real.

@JanusIndustries the explanation is simple, most of my stuff isn't meant to be realistic, at best it'd be semi-realistic, so for example there won't be fiery hot lava worlds dozens of AU away from the star in the cold zone, but something like a single star with an unusually high number of particles and stuff from which planets and moons like this could form is still something that i tend to make

So if it is the radius, that still raises problems! How can a Jovian planet that is smaller than our Jovian planet (Jupiter) harbor a moon that is very similar in size that is habitable, has an active ecosystem, harbor more moons, and STILL HAVE A RING? I wonder how is it. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

@JanusIndustries it was the answer to your first question ("Is this the diameter or the radius of the planet?") , the 58,164 km radius shown on the site in in fact meant to be its radius, as this is a real-sized system which is 5x larger than what the in-game Juno system uses

@Zenithspeed But what do you mean by, "1. radius"? Does that have something to do with composition or color?

    @JanusIndustries
    1. radius
    2. mostly water vapour, but mainly the blue color is for aesthetics only and isn't 100% realistic
    3. once again, aesthetics only and not realistic

Why does Taking have many moons and still have a ring system? Could that be the Roche limit or something else?

Also why is it blue? Normally blue gas giants have an increased amount of methane which is blue. OR, it could have a lot of water vapour but that is kind of normal. Methane can't exist in the habitable zone because it is too warm for it.
