Creptius is a small moon of Crius that stands out due to its unusual and intriguing characteristics. Unlike many other moons, Creptius appears as a relatively small, white or grey asteroid-like body. Its compact size and coloration make it distinct within the moon system.

The most notable and captivating feature of Creptius is the active eruption site that can be observed on its surface. This eruption site emits hot, gaseous water, suggesting the presence of subsurface reservoirs or geothermal activity. The plumes of water vapor rising from this site could create unique geological formations.

The presence of active geysers or eruption sites like the one on Creptius is of great interest to scientists and space explorers, as it provides valuable insights into the moon's internal processes.

Creptius, with its active eruption site, represents a captivating celestial body within the Crius moon system, deserving of further investigation and study to unravel the mysteries of its geology.

@AK5Z having an active Core means the celestial object has a molten body of metals/ices that are separated

While having an active eruption site means the celestial object is actively outgassing some type of material an example of this is !67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko while it does not have an active core it does frequently outgass material. Anyway i hope this clears up some confusion

@Junkthunder Then, explain to me how can asteroids have active eruptions when their core is not active.

@AK5Z oh yeah that's an oversight asteroids don't have active cores (an active eruption site is not an active core BTW). But some asteroids do contain water under their regolith and a collision that whould remove the insulating layer of regolith could couse water and other materials to burst out as steam or another type of mist like substance.

I do not think water in the inner Oceanus system would be present. Since it would have likely been evaporated, I wonder how is water present there.
    .
I also do not think that asteroids have active cores, due to their small size and gravity.

    Great asteroid though
