Venus is the second planet of the sun, close to the earth, but it is very difficult to explore it. It has a thick atmosphere and extremely high surface temperatures.

@lordvader0219 The crash of the game is due to the fact that jet engines in SR2 operate on the principle: the higher the pressure / density of the air, the higher the thrust. Venus has an extremely dense atmosphere (92 atm at sea level) and jet engines have such high thrust that an error occurs. Perhaps this is due to the fact that your SSTO accelerates to huge speeds instantly and burns out in the atmosphere, or there is a problem in the game code. One way or another, the author is better to lower the density of the atmosphere.

@lordvader0219 I just tested flying a plane on Venus and did have the same problem, but I'm still looking for the cause of this bug

@lordvader0219 I think this is because the temperature of Venus is too high (> 400 ° C)

@KrAu please let me know if you do fix it. I just find it weird that this very same craft does not get destroyed when it flies in the atmosphere of Taurus from ESS which has an even thicker atmosphere. I would also recommend you turn off heat damage when you test the PIA-23XR.

@lordvader0219 This may be due to the strong atmosphere of Venus, I will test this problem later, thank you for your feedback.

I’m not sure if anyone else is having this problem. But when ever I activate a jet engine on Venus, the game freaks out and destroys my spacecraft. No explosion. Just a blank screen full of stars and 0m/s.
This bug occurred with my PIA-22XR SSTO if you are wondering.
@undefined1 Thank you for your reply, but in order to restore Venus as much as possible, I still do not intend to revise this data. .......
