Elpis is a large moon of Apate. despite it being a moon, Elpis is still larger than earth and has a similar crust and atmosphere composition to its parent Apate.
Elpis human colony:
Elpis was decided to be the best candidate for human colonization Through several probes sent to the Tau Ceti system. A research colony was established on a river bank near the equator with a launch center being constructed soon after to launch exploration missions. The Elpis Launch Center contains a large vehicle assembly building, tracking station, Medium and heavy lift launch pads, as well as a runway. The tracking station detected a strong radio frequency emanating from Hera, a gas giant in the Tau Ceti system. Upon further inspection the origin of the signal was determined to be Kratos, the furthest out moon of Hera. The radio signal consists of a cycle of a strong radio frequency followed by an equally long silence. the time for the signal to complete a cycle is 82.3392 seconds, which is exactly a 10,000th of the time needed for Kratos to complete an orbit.
