Manikani

A massive planet composed of ice.

This planet, much like all Deep Ice Belt objects, is composed primarily of Deuterium (isotope of Hydrogen) infused water. The presence of such high concentrations of heavy water is incredible, no theory can explain this well.

It is believed that a massive Brown dwarf existed in the area of the Deep Ice Belt. This Brown dwarf fused its Hydrogen into Deuterium for many billions of years. A star ~300x the mass of Saldis exploded, this annihilated the Brown dwarf and spread its fused Deuterium across the newly formed accretion disc around Saldis, specifically concentrating around the to-be Deep Ice Belt.

This Deuterium combined with Oxygen, forming heavy water which was picked up by these Deep Ice Belt Objects

Manikani is a massive ice ball composed of this heavy water, it has large ice flow marks suggesting it was once hot enough for liquid heavy water.
