@Zenithspeed Yeah, me too. Also I made this by repeating biomes from the Moon, then I got frustrated and started to put random values into it

yeah i also don't get why expressions are so overrated, probably because i just don't understand them, which is normal comsidering you need an electron microscope to see my brain

that's how i started my planet building "career" too, i just started experimenting with the templates then gradually figured out what everything does and how to use them in the best way possible
that said, i wouldn't count myself as a "master" (which is like, Ylias or eyo level, for example), but since i lack the mathematical skills for expressions i'll never be able to get to that level, i'm still more than happy with what i could achieve in this game
