This planet is home to a certain species, the Mortanus mraz minimus (AKA the Mrazians), they are bipedal, much like humans and Droods, although a lot smaller in size.
Their planet is currently in ruins, this is because they predicted that a large asteroid (Clodno) would most likely hit the planet. They packed all their necessary stuff and went away to a nearby different planet. However, the aforementioned asteroid did not impact Mraz, and thus the buildings were left to rot until a small group of explorers flew back and found out that their home planet was mostly intact. Their buildings, however, were left in rubble, most likely due to other, smaller asteroid impacts.
They have since started to clean up the mess, and even offered an alliance with us. Safer defenses along with more artificial heating allows for a thicker atmosphere to burn up larger asteroids and further increase the temperature to a good level.
