Astoria II's satellite is strangely similar to our own moon. Both have maria of volcanic origins (although they are more evenly distributed here), a primarily dusty and rocky surface, and of course many craters. Where the Astorian moon differs is the larger size and more notable past volcanoes that are still visible on the surface.
