The planet orbits close to Marikinsi, this means a large amount of Tidal forces heat the core of the planet, this ensures that volcanic activity releases gasses trapped in the magma deep in the surface.
The planet even has its own magnetosphere, this allows the creation of brilliant Auroras at its poles.
