Auto Credit Based on Zenithspeed's Purasaro (ZG)

A slow-spinning pulsar on the outer edges of the galaxy, often nicknamed "Grand Pulsar" by many - eventually leading to the cookie-cutter-like name today.

(i barely know anything about pulsar naming, so there's no codename, also the light streak things might not work)

@Zenithspeed I REALLY don’t want to be that kind of person who whines about game devs messing up or not doing everything I want them to (my thoughts about those people in text form would be longer than all text I have ever posted on any website and get me banned ten times over,) but I really dislike how rudimentary the system editor is, you can’t put in exact numbers for orbital statistics instead having to use those godforsaken sliders and it baffles me why you can’t extend an orbit beyond 1000gm making it impossible to make real scale systems for idiots like me who have no clue how to do xml stuff. the planet studio and the planetmaking community are also just in general are pretty neglected, I’m not saying the Juno devs are intentionally neglecting us, that would be really fkn stupid and unnecessarily provocative and pitch-forky but I wouldn’t mind eventually getting a new planet studio-system editor update.

Cool, thanks for answering , I like a humble person, I see you about to hit that 25k milestone, you gonna release something cool or funny like everyone ends up doing? A lil eye-catching noob-craft, hehe?

@Samps0n unfortunately i'm not skilled enough to understand what you mean with most of that
i didn't make the beams go super far because i don't know what will happen; what i do know is that the game does not like crazy elevation differences like that
if the beams were to face the ecliptic you would be able to see them but only from somewhat close distances as the game does not load in faraway celestial bodies, i'm unsure about the way it would look though
also hate to break your bubble but i am like all the other joes and noobs, i don't know much of this terminology and i only really do this for "haha funny pointy star spin fast" and other randomness

@Zenithspeed I got that, but your mass is gonna influence your soi which is the same bubble your radius is forming , that more mass in a star the more likely you will have orbits all the way out to 1000gm (I do get there is a ooort cloud or ISV game play it shorts you on(that is for almost any size gravity well but the larger the well the more likely it’s gonna be.

Curious, is there a problem if you wanted the beam to go 1000gm+? Because that’s my take on it, pretty sure it’s like a gamma ray mag•lite for 12ly+ . Also I was wanting to know , e.g, earth and the sun(pulsar) the beams don’t beam into the elliptic , would you see that poking in the horizon before the star, or just lingering like a light fountain? Because what a backdrop to creat a bit of attention that separates you from all the other joes or noobs ?

@Samps0n from what i remember, i set the height of the beams to 50 Mm but i'm not sure about it
also the 1000 Gm limit refers to the maximum semi-major axis that the game allows inside the system editor, nothing to do with mass, and obviously i'm not going for accuracy for any of these celestial bodies

Oh, and on the name, I love it, ppl get so unique with intense names but yours tells me exactly what I can expect and only an idiot would think it was a small earth sized rock not what it truly is, so no matter how big my portfolio, your isn’t ever lost

How far from the pulsar are the beams of X-rays and light visible ? Like if I put where sol is would I see the beams in the sky on the surface of mars or the noon, or further? Not being a fuss , just never really considered a different sol star because you they are all the same. This would be cool and very informative as to orientation and distance in your orbit. You saying 6mpr (rpm backwards) orbit limit exists (a6min day) and it’s bumming your creativity? Lmao, tho I feel your shackled pain!! Pulsars would be less than 1.8 sols mass so the 1000gm comments must be in general; not in this instance, is that accurate?

@Zenithspeed I had the same problems with the orbit validator, thats why I didnt release many systems of mine

@Hyperant wait, Unity isn't crap? also what about that weird money deduction thing that got them huge hate a decent amount of months ago? (when that happened i wanted to ask about it and its effects on the game but i never bothered to do so)
as for the orbit validator i just always complain about it because it's this game's equivalent of a whiny-*ss brat that can't take any answer that doesn't match what they want to hear

I agree @SeeyaTheFurry @Zenithspeed. iHave to constantly go back to the XML file and change the system parameters to my liking so that it is realistic. Plus, the game is built on a not-so-shitty engine, Unity. I used Unity before, and although it is great for small games, i don't think it is optimal for large-scale space games like JNO, were if you make a realistic and large system, the game just fumbles and crashes. The orbit validator is fine for me bc I'm on PC @Zenithspeed, but even when I use my tablet (to work on planets on-the-go), it is the laggiest piece of shit that is somehow in operation.

    @SeeyaTheFurry DUDE SAME
both things you mentioned with the SMA (slider only & 1000Gm max limit) are two of my biggest problems with the system editor, and also the only reasons why i won't be able to make a lot my planned systems and/or updates
also, on another note, the orbit validator is *ss, i think we can all agree on that
