Valentine is a small red dwarf star, orbiting about the much larger and brighter star Kerbol. For much of history, most kerbal astronomers assumed that Valentine was just another twinkling star in the night sky. It wasn't until after the distance between Valentine and Kerbol was calculated that astronomers began considering the idea that Valentine might be orbiting around Kerbol. Valentine has several confirmed exoplanets orbiting it, several of which might be Kerbin-like
