Electric engines don't drain electricity from batteries, and they function when batteries are absent (tested using a command chip, fuel tank, and a Mage engine changed to electric cycle, shown in the attached screenshot).

Electric engines are the type. It doesn’t use electricity to burn. No rocket engine exists only using electricity for thrust without a propeller.

@DeboStreams Sorry I wasn't clear, butI meant that electric engines don't consume electricity;
They use pumps powered by batteries, so, as real rocket engines do, must consume electricity.
