The replicate commands and replicate action groups settings are reset (to on) whenever an astronaut or tourist enters or exits a seat or capsule. This has the nasty side effect of craft A suddenly activating all action groups that are active on craft B once your drood enters craft B.

@FunkPunk we had to approach it this way because we found it is the most intuitive solution for most players. It's far from ideal and can get super annoying, I agree. After the 1.0 update we'll reopen suggestions, please, submit it, it's worth looking into adding the extra option you mentioned.

After further testing I understand this is only the case with chairs.

If I understand correctly it is done so craft are always controllable from chairs once selecting the astronaut in that seat.
Unfortunately this can have a disastrous effect on docked craft.

My suggestion is a “craft controllable” switch on the chair part to switch controllability completely off for certain chairs,
    And/or
An “override primary control part” switch on the chair part, that when activated gives the current behavior, and when deactivated leaves the settings of the primary control part untouched.

Ideally the best option is that the craft is always controllable from the chair no matter the primary control part settings so it doesn’t need to mess with that part’s settings, but I’m not sure if that is easily implemented or not…
