Not sure how to reproduce. I was doing some testing and noticed this. It doesn’t seem to happen on time warp. Also in the picture I am past my periapsis so I should be going up.

Dev Notes: Appears to be due to the reference frame. Recentering the ref frame is what causes it to go back to zero. Most likely it's because the surface velocity of the ref frame is calculated when recentering and not again until the next recener, so comparing to surface velocity can drift slightly.

@pedro16797 it even happens when the craft is past its periapsis.

It seems like it loops between 0 and -12m/s. As the description of the bug states, when warping time the value goes back to the expected range.

Situation: Droo orbit 75 by 75km, engine off, no gyro.
Vertical velocity as indicated by Flight View goes from 0 to -14 over the course of about 30 seconds, jumps to 0, repeat.
Maybe related to decaying orbits (up to a few 100 meters per orbit)?
