When you have a stageble part in a sub assembly it can´t be used. it does not show up in the staging menu nor does it work when you use a activation group. if this is a feature than im terribly sorry for submitting this as a bug.

If the subassembly has its own command pod, then it is a sub-craft and all parts in the subassembly will stage off of that command pod. We really need to add a way to edit staging for subcrafts.
