Build: Can't select inlet with Griffin engine inside.

I mounted an inlet onto a Griffin engine as seen in the thumbnail. (The inlet forms a sleeve around the engine and is rotated so that its front is to the rear.) Having fitted it closely, tapered slightly to meet the engine at the rear, I can't find anywhere to click to select the inlet. Everywhere I click selects the engine instead.
