Jetpack L-shift inputs don't work if shift is pressed first

  1. Get a drood
  2. Turn on the jetpack
  3. Hold left shift, then press Q or E
  4. Observe that nothing happens
  5. Press Q or E, then hold left shift
  6. Observe intended behavior of going up and down
