The addition of the R.D.R.E. would be insane as it could be the most powerful and compact liquid fueled rocket engine to date. It can be scaled, used on large or small vehicles. It boasts an insane amount of chamber pressure which gives it it's very high TWR and boosted fuel efficiency compared to deflagration style engines . All in all, it's definitely another promising engine type that could maybe one day help land us on other celestial bodies. i think i once saw a video on either this or another experimental rocket engine and going "yo this would be pretty epic in sr2 not gonna lie", wanted to make a suggestion for it but ended up not making one

Nice, I've been contemplating it for awhile.
Tbh, I am not sure if it will ever be added, seems like a pretty complex model in my brain. Since the flame would have to rotate rapidly around the "flame trench" it would have to be modeled a lot different than other engines. So using the existing models for the flame would be a no go imo.
