Hello, I just tested downloading a craft. I tried it multiple times, and each time, a new Simple Rockets 2 window opens and closes seconds later. In the currently opened window, I am in the designer with a Rocket built. I am thinking is it because you have something that automatically closes a window if two are open, but it closes the wrong one. This is what I tried downloading.

Oh, right. I just realised that. Sorry My mind was still on another glitch report I made. I thought this was the glitch where the main menu buttons don’t work. Thus my past few comments are completely irrelevant. I need to check if this bug still occures or not. Now it completely makes sence. It is likely due to the firewall. Sorry again and I’ll let you know if it works (with the firewall exemption as well). And no problem. Thanks for letting me be part of this. It means a lot. @AndrewGarrison

SR2 uses inter-process communication to let the first window know to download the craft. I suspect the firewall is blocking this. If you see this again, let me know, and we can try adding it to the firewall allowed apps list. Thanks again for helping us test!

Ok. But I wanted to point out that this was a one time occurrence. Also, I might be wrong, but I thought that the firewall blocked actions that could execute another program. The main menue buttons would execute internal codes, which would mean the firewall would not interact with this. But I am not a professional at this sort of thing. You would know this sort of thing way better then me so I suppose it could be the case. @AndrewGarrison

Upon further investigation, this appears to be due to Windows firewall. You will need to add this as an Allowed App for Windows Firewall. You can do that by hitting Windows Key + and search for Allow App and click Allow App through Windows Firewall. Click the Change Settings, and then click Allow Another App. Browse to the SimpleRockets2.exe and select it.

No Problem. Glad I could help. I tried many different things, but the bug just seems to like its place where it is. @AndrewGarrison

I was able to reproduce this. The second window closes, which is fine, but the first window does not proceed to download the craft. Thanks for the bug report!

@ViridiCinis The second window is supposed to instruct the first window that it should download the craft, and then the second window closes itself. If this is not working, it might be due to a firewall issue, since some interprocess communication is used. You can try unblocking the SimpleRockets2.exe from the firewall. Also, you can try copying the URL of the craft to your clipboard and then press CTRL+; in the designer to download the craft (you can bind the Download Craft input to whatever you like).

@AndrewGarrison Is there a way to post a bug report without posting a craft. I cannot even remove the craft from the website (even though it does not really matter since it is private).
