Spacecraft cockpit interiors

Like the new aircraft cockpit, I'd love to have a more configurable interior cockpit for spacecraft. The ability to make the aeroshell transparent in order to view the cockpit would be nice. So that we can place the MFDs and switches into the cockpit, and fly missions from a cockpit view would be really cool. I tried to see if anyone has suggested this specifically before. And the new capsules are really cool, I just want to be able to design a control panel, and fly my missions from the astronauts point of view.
