NO Face, NO Mountains, No terrain, And NO grass

This symptom is usually due to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable not being installed. Steam is supposed to install it automatically as a pre-requisite but for some reason, it fails on occasion. (I've seen it happen when Windows is way out of date and needs to run some updates).
