It's really confusing that you can fly a craft with the placeholder unassigned drood that shouldn't really exist. Unassigned is just a marker for where a drood should stand, so why can it do all the normal things? Just add a popup that informs you that you need to hire crew when you try to launch with an unassigned crewmember.

    @thatguywhodidathing, this unassigned drood rule applies to Career Mode, which is where it really matters. Besides, Sandbox Mode is meant to have no restrictions, regardless of whether or not they're realistic or even apply to Career Mode (e.x. in Sandbox Mode, you can launch a craft taller than 10 meters on the Droo Village Launch Pad.) If you can do that in Sandbox, then why shouldn't you be able to launch and use unassigned droods in Sandbox Mode?
