We already seem to have a procedural music system which works quite well. Why not add a new case in reference to Interstellar's docking scene where you play a rapidly repetitive, fast piece of music which matches the rotation rate of the vessel. In addition, there seems to be only one or two pieces of music per situation, it'd be really nice to have some more variety in the music pieces which we hear, and more variation in different settings. Something which evokes slow thoughtfulness in the editor, a spacey ambiance in the main menu, and different themes for launch and re-entry respectively. I love the sound design for this game as it is, but it could be truly amazing with more work.
Special case music when rotating above a certain RPM, and more varied soundtrack.
