Usability Issue: Vizzy item selection panels stop scrolling when an input field is under the cusor

In the Vizzy editor, if you open a panel such as the "Operators" panel and attempt to scroll down with a trackpad gesture, scrolling stops as soon as an input area that can accept text moves under the cursor. This is really annoying when trying to scroll up and down long lists of items.

I'm on Mac OS 10.15.3, Macbook Pro, using built in trackpad.
