Renaming the jet engines of the craft broke the craft (first 3 stages count as activated but are not activated, individual parts can still be activated, but the stage cannot be activated)

  1. Rename a jet engine
  2. launch
  3. enjoy the broken aircraft
    What didn't fix it:
-Restarting game (including disabling all mods)
    -Reloading the craft
    -Disconnecting and reconnecting parts
-Loading to a different launch location
    -Launching in a different system
-blowing up broken plane and saving and exiting flight

Other crafts work fine :/

1st img is stages shown in editor
2nd img is launching on runway in base game system
3rd img is launching in my system "Saldis System"

@Pedro I disabled it and the bug persisted, however I did just have something similar occur, currentStage is 0 this time and it seems to happen when Nvidia Geforce experience is opened during a loading screen (using alt+z). This time it also replicated the throttle of the same craft launched previously (100% throttle), upon reloading however throttle was normal but stages are still broken

There is a chance it could be a mod messing with things though, I just noticed you have the chatroom one enabled, which I've seen cause some weird issues before

@HelixX it's the second time I see this and I'm as clueless as the first time lol

@Pedro For some reason currentStage on the command chip was set to 3, the only tinker panel editing was part scale and part mass on the wing-shaped fuel tanks and explosiveness on the bombs. Its still stuck on 58% for some reason (not a program, none on this craft)

After renaming the engines I clicked the command chip once before launching, to see if it was the "primary command pod". If all of this is caused by settings saving from the previous flight to the next one I have no idea how it was done as all I did was exit and undo flight once my plane crashed into the ground (pc user just in case mobile has different features)

This has nothing to do with the jet engines being renamed but with the chip having it's initial state set to Stage 3 and its throttle to 58%. Did you tinker the craft or moved it from a flight to the designer?
