Alright. I think this has been a thing on planet designer’s minds and it bugs me and other designers who make interstellar systems.
The system of a centered Star
From my experience, the center star of the system ALWAYS is the brightest even if a star system is REALLY far away. The center star is the only star other planets/moons correspond to when it comes to day and night, which obviously, is a really big and annoying problem when making interstellar systems. It is also worth to note that even if you are super far away, eventually the center star just sits there shining much brighter than the other stars. So basically, I think I speak on behalf of many when we say we would like this to be fixed.
XML required to have interstellar system orbits.
Now. I will not get into right now about the fact every system in a interstellar system always orbits around the center star, but it is a little annoying when you need to use XML to extend the semi-major axis for stars, and I think it would be nice if we could have more range on the semi-major axis.
I am sorry if I broke the suggestion rules, but this is a similar topic and it really bugs me. So all I am asking right now, on behalf of a few others, to PLEASE optimize the system studio for interstellar systems. It would make the game much more fun. (Still is fun now 😉)
