lemme say you made a nice looking hand with fingers or something as complex as it, you must not want to destroy it by accidentally grab a random part of it and reattach to somewhere else with symmetry on. Right?

I run into this problem all the time when I attach more than a few fuel adapter nozzles and engines to the bottom of a fuel tank part for my multi-engine-per-stage rockets. The fuel adapter nozzle is so tiny it requires a surgeon or master pianist's dexterity with the mouse and extreme concentration to avoid accidentally clicking the bottom of the fuel tank and accidentally detaching it and all the painstakingly-placed fuel adapter nozzles. So, I would DEFINITELY love to see a part "weld" or "group" tool so that no matter if I accidentally click the fuel tank instead of a nozzle, it won't detach the carefully-placed adapter nozzles or engines. This is a fantastic suggestion!!! :)

So when your editing a group all other parts are not editable. Good way to have an internals group you can edit without messing everything up when trying to hit that tiny arrow.

This would also help for crafts with large part counts too, right?

I want a slider to affect all of the fuel in the group of parts. (One slider for each fuel type in the group.)

@Kell Thanks Kell! I appreciate it! But, I believe I was already using that key to help me, but sometimes (without a part group/weld feature yet) an accidental click still happens and I unintentionally move the fuel tank still and this results in a huge hassle and requires a large amount of time to manually re-connect potentially many dozens of tiny parts.
