    Sorry about that. You are correct that it cannot be overridden in the part XML. I'll try and implement that before the next update.

    @AndrewGarrison Unfortunately, it wasn't. If I do that and load it in game, the game automatically delete the < autoacvivate ... / >

    @AnotherFireFox The Part tag should be able to override attributes from its PartType tag. I think. You could try:

    <Part autoActivateIfNoStageOrActivationGroup="true" />

    We are planning to change it in the next update so that everything activates by default if it's not staged and not in an AG.
