Why is it in whole numbers and no longer decimals?? That puts simplicity over accuracy now. How am I going to recreate other missions now that need precise heights? And why change something that didn't need changing? At least give us an option to choose whether we want them rounded or not.

@Pedro the orbits themselves. If anything, I'd prefer the orbit line to show at least 2 significant figure after the decimal as that's how it was before so that when I recreate satellites and missions in RSS, I could solidly know the precise apogee and perigee.
It brings more peace of mind that way. The simplicity looks more naive of a product and makes it less attractive to those who prefer realism. -

@RamenNoodlesXVII where in the map view? In the orbits themselves or in the map info panel? We decided to have a more consistent way to display distances in order to have a more clean UI that has a better use of the international metric system. How much precision would you need and why?
.
You mention having to convert, that to me seems like a lack of understanding of the metric system, the k means x1,000, and the M means x1,000,000, so all you have to do is multiply by 1000, I would necessarily call that conversion, nor the game being broken. As of right now, you can get hyper-precise orbit parameters through vizzy, and in the future, we may look into having other ways to get the raw precision, but this change won't be reverted. -

@Pedro I mean in the map menu. It wasn't broken before, why fix it now? And also why are you guys now mixing km with Mm? The old altitude system just worked better from an intuitive point of view, and the current one is just detracting me from doing anything in game anymore since I can't get as precise orbits by looking at the map menu.
More too, my geostationary orbits are appearing in Mm, not in km like it was before. Makes it more confusing and now am having to convert. Can't you guys just simply allow the user to choose the units/whether or not they want a decimal place or not? You guys had it before, I'm sure it isn't too hard to put back in

@RamenNoodlesXVII what I mean is in what ñart of the UI do you find the lack of precision to be a problem, there are numbers all around the GUI

@Pedro in no decimal places. Now it's just whole numbers. Ex:500km on map instead of 500.5 (as it was in past) or 500.50 km. The extra digits (if it was toggleable too) really helps out for accurate manuever nodes/burn planning, and when I'm trying to recreate satellites in RSS to their exact orbit.

@Pedro if anything, all I ask for is the option as a clean UI takes away from functionality and efficiency (ex. the price and mass being moved to a separate window to clean up the VAB)
