I fully understand the current method is really convenient for mobile users, but it's really hard to find the orientation to the point of reference without FDAI. Not only KSP, orbiter, SSM etc. I think FDAI is quite common and a primary instrument to the game in this genre.

    Could this be a toggle option, I am all for it but I would not like it to be in the way of screenshots. So maybe have it an option in the settings turned on by default? @AndrewGarrison

    Any updates on this? The current navball hides precious information (and this relates to other parts of the flight UI), such as angles and various vectors.

    To be honest, it would be nice to see at least ticks on the current nav sphere (for lack of a better term) to show a spacecraft's heading without having to move it.
