Says it all. I don't know how it began, but it's impossible to work in designer. Rotation of part is somewhat intermittent, but it occurs in all new, or when modding existing, designs. Frustrating!

It might help to zero-ize the rotation by selecting one of the parts and then pressing 'R' to open the Rotation Tool. From there ensure Mode is Connected and then set X-Angle, Y-Angle, and Z-Angle all to 0.
