Now AGL is based in CoM height, it would be nice to know the real distance to the ground

    @pedro16797 that's obvious

    @AnotherFireFox the thing is that even with dry CoM the altitude is going to change a lot depending on the craft, a dynamic bounding box would be appreciated

    @pedro16797 You have to recalculate bounding box after staging, or a hinged part pops out. Same as empty CoM.

    @AnotherFireFox what do you mean?

    @pedro16797 staging and hinges change bounding box either

    @AnotherFireFox still there's staging, hinges... changing the CoM, not only fuel consumption. Bounding boxes would be ideal.

    This results in making suicide burn program hard since you don't really know at what AGL you're landed. I'm not sure how hard it is to draw a bounding cylinder to get the height in the matter of program. If it's hard enough to affect the performance, I guess using dry CoM instead of current CoM to get the height would be an option. At least this height wouldn't be changed inflight. @AndrewGarrison

    Maybe a bounding cylinder would be more intuitive for people? What if the bottom part is long? We wouldn't want the center point.
