I've noticed that if i preprogram Vehicle A to activate a stage and move on the vehicle B before vehicle A's stage is activated that it will not do so.

For example i'm trying to recover boosters. I've verified the program works by "being in control" of the booster and watching the automation work. However if i just release the booster and control the main craft i can watch the booster fall back to droo and dissapear. Keep in mind trajectory and everything else is the same. The only difference is i'm "in control" of another craft at the time and the automation is not happening. Is this a bug or rather a limitation?

The way this works is that you need to have a control unit (chip or disc) on the booster and switch to it for the landing, then go back to the orbital stage

If a craft is outside of its physics range, the programs won't be running, because they won't be loaded
