This would make it possible to easily make even more unique environments. Also, they look super cool on screenshots, especially seen from moons :3

    @pedro16797 The color is driven by the texture. We plan to allow custom textures as part of the planet builder.

    @pedro16797 Here is the XML for the new rings around Urados.

    <Rings innerRadius="1.3" outerRadius="2.5" rotation="15,0,0" texture="Planets/Textures/PlanetRingsUrados" />

    Inner and OuterRadius are multiplied by the planet's radius. It does support rotation.

    @AndrewGarrison I guess the rings will be configurable in the xml, any chance to rotate the rings, change the size and where the "black" regions are?
    And also will it be possible to add rings to any planet? It may be a good way to make asteroid belts giving the sun some rings

    @AndrewGarrison no asteroids... but particles? In that region of space you don't have air to deal with and not much to render, and a flat disc can look quite bad when you get close to it
