The grid in the SR2 designer is accurate to .0001 meter, but you can only nudge a minimum of .01 meters at a time, which is rather inconvenient when you need parts placed in very specific places.

Ive never had an issue with this on pc but it happens to me on mobile and probably only because its terrible trying to build anything on a tiny screen full of UI.
When my grid is set to smallest on pc there is no nudging it just goes smoothly where I wish.
You can set the grid size bigger and thats when I see nudging intervals. -
