Although the current attachment strength of parts are sufficient to a point, there are certain builds that require struts and pistons (and other parts) to have higher attachment strengths, and so they detach very often during use, under many different conditions and stresses (shear, tension, combination of these plus compression). I suggest adding a slider bar for increasing attachment strength, and as attachment strength increases so should the weight/cost and possibly thickness of the part's base or the whole part.
