The game did not load, only the space background, UI, and HUDs apppearing. I can access the pause menu and add sliders although i cant use them

When opening the console command i can only see tons of error messages until the top

Is it because of hardware issues? Or it could be a bug to the game?

@exosuit Okay, after helping another player with a similar issue, they were able to fix it by installing the most recent C++ redist. If you are interested, you can try getting the Visual Studio 2017 x64 redist from Microsoft here. Let me know if that fixes it.

@exosuit Okay, thanks. I'm really not sure what's going on. Hopefully, when we get it on Steam it will work correctly for you.

@exosuit Your log indicates it can't find the SR2Native.dll file. Did you unzip everything from the SimpleRockets2-v0.4.0.0.zip file? And is the SimpleRockets 2_Data folder next to your SimpleRockets 2.exe? Does it look like this. Also, if you are running through the shortcut, it might not have the correct Start In directory.

@exosuit I got your ZIP file via email. We will take a look. One more question, when you click Run As Administrator, are you right-clicking on the SimpleRockets2.exe file, or the shortcut on your desktop? It needs to be the .exe file.

ZIP up that GameStates folder and the output_log.txt and upload it to Google Drive and give us the link. Or, if it's easier, you can just send it to us via email at games@jundroo.com. Thanks!

@exosuit Okay, maybe since you are on Win 7, maybe I had the wrong path. Do you have this folder:

    %userprofile%\appdata\locallow\Jundroo\SimpleRockets 2

If so, please send us the output_log.txt and your UserData\GameStates folder. If not, then can you find the SimpleRockets 2 documents folder on your PC somewhere under on your PC?

@exosuit No, that should be fine. What version of Windows are you using? Are you running any anti-virus software?

@exosuit Are you running the SimpleRockets2.exe from your desktop, by chance? If so, try moving it to your Documents folder.

@AndrewGarrison I've tried running the program as administrator and it still not fixing the issue

Maybe that is the issue you are having that it can't create those directories or files. Try right-clicking the SimpleRocktets2.exe and select Run As Administrator.

If possible, it would be great to get a bug report of the game in this state. If you can't submit a bug report because the game is too borked, then it would be very helpful to get your log file and game state. You can find those here (assuming WIndows):

    Log file:
    %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimpleRockets 2\output_log.txt

Zip this GameStates folder up and send it to us:
    %APPDATA%\..\Jundroo\SimpleRockets 2\UserData\GameStates

Looks like the game is referencing a nonexistent or null object
