Anything attached to Ocean Delivery container falls off, making mission impossible to complete

I am attempting the Ocean Delivery Contract. The big blue container does not stay attached to my boat, no matter what piece I used to attach it. In the editor, it seems to attach normally, but when I launch the boat, it immediately comes loose and the mission log (top left) turns into a red RETRY button.
