Saving broken when adding solar arrays

Sometimes adding a solar array will break the "save craft" system - clicking "save craft" or "overwrite" won't do anything. But, if you remove the offending solar array and replace it with exactly the same part with the same specs, suddenly the saves work again.
Same goes for looking at a solar panel. Sometimes if you even look at a solar array in the part inspector, it'll break the save. Once you get it to succesfully save with a solar array, best to never touch or look at the array ever again.
