Uh I cant upload a thumbnail as I took a screenshot of it when it occured and didnt take an in game photo (sorry)

THIS BUG APPLIES ONLY TO THE ROVER MISSIONS (LUNA TT AND BRIGO)

Possibly applies to others e.g. cylero if those exist but im not that far into career mode progression yet.

There is a current issue with the rover mission wherein using a seperate craft e.g.a skycrane to land the rover on the moon will then make the game consider both craft as the rover making it impossible to complete the game. The destruction of one or the other will result in a mission fail.

Here are the steps to recreate this issue:

Step 1: make it to the moon with a rover attached to a craft (the craft must have a probe core or any controllable thing on it) e.g. skycrane

Step 2: Detach the rover

Step 3: exit the game and enter the tracking menu.

Step 4: select the rover and take control

Once this has happened the game now considers both the rover and the craft as the rover.

My skycrane will inevitably fall to the ground detonate and cause a mission fail.

However if the craft is grounded the game will calculate distance to sample zone based on the craft not being controlled e.g. if your in the rover itll calculate distance based off craft and vice versa.

It does not happen if you switch craft in the in flight planet map thingy.

Note: driving into the sample zone with the rover does not do anything once this has occured. The only fix is to revert flight.
