Android status bar interference

Hello! Love the app! Is there a way you could modify any of the buttons at the top to be easier to tap on since the status bar on a Samsung thinks I'm trying to pull it down? Anytime I try to select the option menu to take a photo i cannot close the menu again because the status bar is now in the foreground. I have to exit to my phone's main screen then re-enter the game just to close that window. The map and camera buttons aren't so bad but they can trigger it as well. Could another button to exit be placed on the option menu?
