They can run at 9m/s for a few hours.
Maybe a energy/strength bar can be added.It tells the player if the drood is tired.When they run ,it will decrease.The energy level will slowly come back if they aren't running.When the energy level is lower than a value , droods should slow down or even stop running.(i know that droods are stronger than normal humans ,but this is going to be fun and more realistic,since they are creatures,not robots)

I forgot one thing,swimming at 2m/s is also tiring.
Anyway , anything that is going to require a lot of strength should make the energy level decrease.
