The sun flares, glare, brightness, and everything disappear when you get closer than 140,000km. It is just a big black ball..
Also noting that when I tried to land on it, it was there, but it was black, no textures, no lighting, no nothing.

@AndrewGarrison you guys can make sun by an object with light. When a probe gets closer to sun, it causes heating damage. Making getting to sun challenging. Also are you guys making this game with Unity3d
