Rockets and planes are cool, but Juno allows you to create anything you want through shape modeling, like boats, robots, drones, and land vehicles. Absolutely all land vehicles today need a battery to operate because their engines are electric, the wheels already come with an electric motor and this is kind of annoying for those who like to create things like tanks, racing cars, and even piston-driven planes. It would be quite interesting to add a new default part, a combustion engine, which could asseveral variations just like the conventional rocket engines in the game. For example, an engine could have body variations (boxer, V, inline, star, etc.), in addition to its number of pistons (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8…); and above all, it could work as jet fuel (for those who want to make planes); and for land vehicles like gasoline, hydrogen, diesel, etc.
With this implementation, the standard wheels could be optional in having electric motors or not, thus making it possible to have a hybrid vehicle/aircraft and also for those who want to make planes, helicopters, and ships it would be much more interesting and fun. We at JNO really like to build and create new things, replicas, and everything that comes to our imagination, and with that, I believe it will bring even more entertainment to the game, furthering its purpose which is to build and launch anything you can imagine. I have no idea if anyone has asked for this before, but I imagine it must have crossed your minds to put something like this. It must not be easy, since creating these things involves deeper knowledge about the subject and making it procedural must make things even more difficult, but it would be quite fun to hear an engine roar as I accelerate through the DSC and know that I am not needing a power generator to simulate a conventional car engine.
I've thought about this before :( sadly....car builder's are not that luckily...I mean we have new propellers for planes and boat's but nothing for cars??
